Stop Sign Project

I want to help my community be safer and more walkable. I want my neighborhood to have more and better traffic signage including speed signs and stop signs and lighting. The neighborhood is mostly residential and there are lots of intersections with no signs and it's not clear who has the right away and everyday there are accidents or close calls. Recently someone was killed on Chirstmas eve at an intersection without signage.

I will listen to concerns from neighbors and reach out to city council to determine what is needed to justify adding signage. I will host a neighborhood meeting and ask for stories and also ask for suggestions on where the trouble spots are and take that recommendation to my city council person.
