Stafford County Locally Sourcing Assessment
Project focus area
We've met with all of the schools, elderly homes, and hospital. The goal is to have them buy more food locally. We have uncovered that there is a disconnect between the hospital and the health department. Maybe there is some project there we can support to focus on Food as Medicine. We are in discussion about this.

Bring together local institutions with meal plans— such as the hospital, elderly care homes, and schools—to increase their sourcing of locally produced food.
