Evidence
The interest in the project increased significantly when it was advertised. We are looking at increasing it across two other communities in Barton County.
Two volunteers were identified to lead the program and the Great Bend Senior Center will host a space for them to use on a long term weekly basis.
The program received 10 calls the first week it was implemented and then 40 new clients were added in the following month.
The lead volunteers were able to communicate the program to all of the Skilled Nursing facilities, who in turn let clients being released to a home environment know about the program.
We anticipate this program growing even more.
