Elevate Youth

We want to awaken youth in our community to what is possible right in their own home town! We want to create an opportunity for them to discover what being an entrepreneur is while also bringing more people into the businesses that already exist. We believe the work done with this project will provide benefit to our community, current entrepreneurs and the next generation of community leaders!

We plan to partner with the Junior Achievement classes at Marshalltown High School and introduce them to local entrepreneurs through the development of an activity that will get them out into the community and into the businesses that exist. This will be done through a class field trip where students will meet entrepreneurs in their businesses and be able to hear their stories and see their progress. Students will then apply this experience to follow up activities that are designed in collaboration with the class instructor.
