Elevate Youth

Plan for action

We plan to partner with the Junior Achievement classes at Marshalltown High School and introduce them to local entrepreneurs through the development of an activity that will get them out into the community and into the businesses that exist. This will be done through a class field trip where students will meet entrepreneurs in their businesses and be able to hear their stories and see their progress. Students will then apply this experience to follow up activities that are designed in collaboration with the class instructor.

Progress

  1. Phase 1 — Plan & Commit
    Set your project focus and actions, who you’ll engage, and how you’ll measure success—plus a simple timeline. Submit this setup to kick off.
  2. Phase 2 — Midpoint Check-In
    Share what’s done, what you’re learning, and any course corrections. Note any support needs to stay on track.
  3. Phase 3 — Report & Reflect
    Summarize outcomes and evidence (reach, partnerships, dollars), key insights and barriers, and recommended next steps. Completing this closes your Actioneer project.
